You don’t have to look far to find evidence that we are not alone in feeling out of balance, that internal wobble between our lives in and outside of work.

The lack of job security and satisfaction, or not feeling safe or included at work can have an impact on how we feel balanced and in control of our working life.

Then there are the pressures of rising household costs, caring for immediate and wider family, and for some of us, experiencing loneliness which altogether can make us feel stressed and unhappy.

We can’t solve the social and economic problems that we are all facing, but we can take a pause to consider what being in balance really means to each of us, and what steps we can we put in place to make us feel a little more in balance.
