What a wonderful night at the Midlothian & East Lothian Chamber of Commerce Awards Ceremony.
It felt very special to be sharing the night with my daughter (though she was craving hot chocolate and her PJs by the end), and to be applauded on the stage with the other Micro Business finalists.
Being a solo entrepreneur is a family affair, even if everything relies on you – marketing, sales, design, delivery, finances, purchasing…. the list goes on! But I know I couldn’t do it without my family’s support, advice, cuddles, and cups of tea.
So, whilst there were no winning or runners’ up speeches, I’d like to ‘thank’ my family with all my heart’. Here’s to sharing more magical moments of winning and not winning, giving things a go, and just being me.
